Interoperability

One protocol. Many manufacturers. One connected OR.

The IEEE 11073 SDC family of standards (Service-oriented Device Connectivity) defines how medical devices communicate with each other – vendor-independently, securely and dynamically.

As co-founders of OR.NET e.V., we have been involved in the development of SDC from the very beginning. We pass this knowledge on: to development teams integrating SDC into their products, to decision-makers procuring connected systems, and to hospitals planning the operating room of the future.

  • Plug-and-play integration of medical devices
  • Secure, dynamic device-to-device communication
  • Vendor-independent and openly standardized
